(born 1924 in Herford, † May 29, 2012 in Altenkirchen / Westerwald) was a German evangelical child missionary. She was known throughout Germany as "Tante Ruth" by her radio show "Die fröhliche Kinderstunde" (The happy children hour), which was broadcast once a week from 1956 to 1966 on Radio Luxembourg as the first christian german radio program for children. In 1960s she was conductor of the Wetzlarer Kinderchor.
