Synthpop/EBM band from Aargau, Switzerland, formed in the spring of 1986 by Ralf L. Aerne (vocals, programming, guitar) and Reto Caduff (sampling, vocals). The band released two albums in 1987 and 1988 and a last single in 1989. After the end of Séance, Caduff became a film producer and director at Swiss Television in Zürich. Aerne opened a musical instrument shop in Zürich and worked later for a Swiss furniture company.
