S. Ravenlord was a founding member of the WI Black/Death Metal band Accursed. He performed with the band from 1993-94 which also resulted in the creation of their first two demos. In 1995, he took part in the short lived Death Metal project Hollow that produced a single demo, before launching the Black/Death/Doom band Nightworld in 1996. 1998 would see the demise of Nightworld, not long after recording their lone demo, and the creation of two new projects. Pure Black Metal band Stormblast, which recorded a 2 song demo before being laid to rest. And Black/Death/Doom band Dead By Morning which changed their name in 1999 to The Cold Beyond. In 2003 and 2004, Ravenlord took part in the Avantgarde Depressive Metal project fractured... The project was laid to rest in 2005, and Ravenlord returned his full attention to The Cold Beyond. Ravenlord also has an experimental solo project known as Charred. In addition Ravenlord is the owner of Night World Records and Deadspeak Design.
