Regular headliners fill halls, headliners fill hearts – who’s surprised by it? - Hearts. With pleasure!The beat is hard, the bass cuts violently. Hmmmmm, could this be Nicko McBrain at the drum machine and Lemmy Kilmister at the synthesizer? On the surface it’s a rousing uptempo party-metal-electrosong with a stubborn hookline. Just as stubborn than the hookline is the doubt, that’s created by the lyrics. You don’t get rid of both of it! Man? Woman? In between! Doubt! Who’s interested in binary attempts of explications in about 100 years? Perhaps the ringleaders, the alpha animals, the opinion formers, the class representative? Therefore retrograded keepers of the status quo? Their image of humanity does not enable living. They provide restriction, produce disease, they are the “faces of death in the lion’s den” and Saalschutz want to assist in “destroying them”. It’s about whether you can live in a world like this, what time you feel satisfied, about separation anxiety and consolation. And as nearly always by Flumroc and M T Dancefloor it’s about categorical, radical doubt. Watch out: Saalschutz experience with megalomania. They want to be the saviors!
