Héctor Jorge Ruiz Saccomano , known by the stage name of Sabú was born in Buenos Aires , Argentina on September 12, 1951. He recorded more than 15 albums; recorded more than 200 songs; he had 27 gold records and 7 platinum records; he sang in 6 languages. Spanish, English, French, Italian, Japanese and Portuguese. After complications from a surgery of two cervical vertebrae; it was discovered he had lung cancer which led to his early passing. Even after two chemotherapy treatments he was found terminal and succumbed to the infirmity on October 16, 2005 in Mexixo City, Mexico; he was just 54 years young.
