Album SE 2008 on Mellotronen label
Jazz, Latin and R&B/Soul
Tracks 1 to 3 were recorded at the Swedisch Radio in Stockholm, April 12, 1973. Tracks 4 to 6 were recorded at Polyvox Studios in Stockholm during a hot summer day in 1974. The liner notes of this release refer to the bass player on tracks 1 to 3 as "Mr. X", explaining that after years of research, the publishers have not been able to identify the artist. In 2009 however, Mellotronen released "The Dalecarlia Recordings 1971-72" by Sabu. In the linernotes accompanying that release the mystery about the bass player "Mr. X" is solved, and the true line-up of the Burned Sugar sessions are given. Those credits are entered here as well, though "uncredited". Tracks 4-6 are CD bonus tracks.
