Sah'lomon

voc,
Musician / Composer of World
A.k.a. Solomon Remy Nguoa Remy Salomon

Born as Solomon Remy Nguoa in Republic of Congo, Sah'lomon is brilliant composer, composer and instrumentalist. His interest in music stated at the age 10. An idea both parents objected. At age 14 Sah'lomon had mastered the guitar(solo, rhythm and bass guitars). He enjoyed entertaining his classmates during break periods so much that every student of his high school would love to pay to see him perform. At the age of 16 he was selected to join the National Youth Orchestra of Congo. He was the youngest musician to perform with the National Youth Orchestra of Congo at the country's 11th annual festival held in Cuba. He has been chosen more than any other artist to represent his country at the international level. His carrier as a full time musician started with the band "Sinza Kotoko" (with Pierre Moutouari). Baantous de la Capital (with Pamelo Mounka - may his soul rest in peace), Le 1 Success de zao. Sah'lomon did not only play Rhumba and Soukouss music, but is also a versatile composer of Rock and R&B music to suit the African style. In 1982 he arrived in Paris where he co-founded "Les Officers" (with Tchico Tchicaya) "Mbamina", "Loketo" with (Aurlus Mabele and Diblo Dibala) and "Soukouss Stars" (with Lokassa and Dali Kimoko) In 1992 he formed the group "Zimbabwe" and recorded his smash hits Sarrah and Rama which set Africa on fire and then penetrated the European and American markets. His style of Soukouss is so unique that most fans sometimes conclude he is from one of the West African countries of Mali, Senegal or Chad but better believe it, Sah'lomon is proud to be a "Congolese". Taxi Diarabi from the Africantilles CD reinforced his international recognition as the King of Soukouss. Then came the hit single "Mami Wata Nicole" from the "I Love You" CD backed by the Ivorian singer Hindirah which clearly demonstrates Sah'lomon's talent as a versatile musician. Finally "Le Vrai Roi du Soukouss" (The Actual or real King of Soukouss) arrives with his album "Happy Birthday".
