A.k.a. Ian Johansson
Originally named Psychopod, the group released a number of high-octane trance tracks on the seminal TIP Records label in London. In 2002 after a new musical direction and a new spelling, Saiko-Pod released their first full-length album “Phutures And Options” on Solstice Music in Japan and Spiral Trax in Europe. “Phutures And Options” is a club friendly cross pollination of house music, trance and electronica and has worked out very successfully with audiences around the World. In 2003, Saiko-Pod played a number of big events including Fuji Rock Festival with DJ Sasha, and Optimus Hype Meco and Samothraki dance festivals in Portugal and Greece. At some point after 2004 Saiko-Pod became a solo project of Ian Ion.
