Saints Of Pain

Band,

A.k.a. Exploder (3) Pandemonium Diabolico Shovel (9) Sloth (6)

One of the precursors/alternate identities of Sloth, alongside Exploder, Shovel, and Pandaemonium Diabolico, this one unique among the others in being sludge/doom/death with mostly extremely slow tempos and growled vocals (and without the humour/sarcasm of other related projects). The first Saints of Pain demo was released before the beginning of Sloth, although Saints Of Pain continued for several years after the beginning of Sloth, operating simultaneously for at least the first three years of Sloth. "Machine", credited with Drums on both Saints of Pain demos, is referring to a Drum Machine, programmed by writer/guitarist/vocalist Dom Kaveliski.
