Melbourne-based singer/songwriter. Born 1975 Sally Mary Russell. Known as Sally Seltmann since her marriage to Darren Seltmann of The Avalanches. Sally grew up in Sydney. She was vocalist and one of the founding members of rock/pop quartet Lustre 4 and in the 1990s she played guitar for a short time in Spdfgh. She moved to Melbourne and created New Buffalo with a different, more downtempo musical style, releasing her debut material in February 2000.
