Swedish based producer Ashkan Fardost is the man behind the guise 'Envio' and 'Salt Lake'. When he discovered artists like Jean Michel Jarre and Vangelis at the age of five, Ashkan found the genre of electronic music to be the most fascinating style among the other popular genres at that time, like euro-dance, hip-hop and pop. At the age of 15 and after five years of classical piano training, he discovered a free Windows-based version of the application 'Fast Tracker'. This application was the beginning of his career as a music producer. At this time Ashkan had no idea of what was about to happen in the years to come. Gradually his skills and demands of quality evolved and today, at the age of 18, he is more settled into the music-industry more than he could ever dream of just a few years ago.
