b.: 1900 (Honolulu, Hawaii) d.: 1968 Famous Hawaiian conductor, arranger, composer and musician (steel guitar, bass and bass viol). He was one of the main contributor to the expansion of Hawaiian music, and worked with artists such as Bing Crosby and Louis Armstrong.
