British music producer and DJ, born in Manchester and currently based in London. Shepherd release and perform electronic music under the alias Floating Points, but he is also classically trained, so he writes, compose and arrange for his 16-piece Floating Points Ensemble. Shepherd is also a co-founder of Eglo Records and the first artist to release on the label. As a DJ and radio presenter, he is known for his strong passion for jazz music.
