A.k.a. Domingo Samudio Sam Samudio
Retired American vocalist and bandleader. He was known for his camp robe and turban and hauling his equipment in a 1952 Packard hearse with maroon velvet curtains. He was inducted into the Memphis Music Hall of Fame in 2016. For his 1960s group see Sam The Sham & The Pharaohs.
