Before joining the quintet Sami was the Tubist of the Uppsala Chamber Orchestra and Linné Brass Quintet, a position he held from 2006-2009. Sami has also four of his siblings in this database: Aminah Al-Fakir, Ayman Al Fakir, Nassim Al Fakir and Salem Al Fakir.
