Sami Lehto (born November 9, 1972) is a Finnish musician (drums, keyboards) and producer. He started playing piano at the age of 8, but changed to drums when he was 16. He went to school with a bunch of other Finnish musicians, such as Jussi Chydenius, Jukka Puurula and Mikko von Hertzen. At the same time he also learned to record and mix, since he was interested in producing. His first band was "Ma Baker's Soul Factory" that was founded in 1992. In 1994 the band played with Janita on her "Sävyjä" tour. The next year they released an album "Zip Hop Jungle", which was produced by Lehto. After this Lehto has been playing with several artists, both on stage and in the studio. In addition he keeps on working as a producer. Currently he plays in The Giant Leap.
