Samuel (or Shmuel, Shmulik) Fisher (born 1917 in Premishlan in eastern Galicia , Poland; died 17 July 1971 in Tel Aviv) was an actor, theatrical composer, songwriter, producer and playwright. Fisher emigrated to Israel in 1938 at the age of 21. During the 1950s and 1960s he worked in the United States, primarily New York, where he married singer Sarah Lipton in 1966.
