Violinist, born 1910, died 1 July 2000 in Evanston, Illinois. Member of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra 1934-1937. He then became concertmaster and soloist at several orchestras - the Kansas City Philharmonic and the Baltimore and Cleveland symphonies - before moving to the Pittsburgh Symphony, where he served for 20 years under Fritz Reiner and later William Steinberg. While in Pittsburgh, he served as conductor of the Carnegie Mellon Orchestra.
