Rock
The Sandkings were a british indie pop band from Wolverhampton who gained a cult following during the late 80's and early 90's. Their first single "Rain" was released in 1988 and featured a different singer from the later releases. After the first single Jas Mann, better known as the front man of Babylon Zoo was recruited as singer. They toured with bands such as The Wonderstuff, Neds Atomic Dustbin, Pop Will Eat Itself, The Levellers, The Happy Mondays and The Stone Roses. After just one album and a number of singles and EPs they disbanded in 1992 following the departure of Jas Mann due to musical differences.
