A.k.a. Valérie Sandra Mandengué Mounam
Originally from Cameroon, Valérie Sandra Mandengué known as Sandra Mandengue or Mounam began singing with performances of Afro-American music (soul, funk, blues, jazz), reggae and even rock in various clubs. The diversity of his repertoire allows him to develop a wide and varied vocal register on international scenes since 1991. In 1999 with his childhood friends, the Caribbean Isabelle Belleau and the Togolese Sabine Kouli, they formed the Maezah trio. In the early 2000s he joined as a vocal leader with the Lyon-based group Brown Sugar. Later under the nickname Mounam she poses her voice on the music of the British electro guitarist Dave Randall (2002 - Rufflife Records), then the electro jazz collective Metropolitan Jazz Affair (2003). Since that year is the female voice of the group The Dynamics.
