Sanford Ponder is an American musician, best known for his two albums of electronic music in the early '80s during the initial years of the Private Music label. He was one of the first musicians working in the digital domain, and was a Fairlight Computer Music Instrument operator for artists such as Kuris Blow, Psychedelic Furs, Nile Rodgers, Lou Rawls, then an independant Hollywood sound designer and producer. As Botanica he created music from and about fractals. He currently works as a healing practitioner in California.
