Born in 1973 in Bobo-Dioulasso, Burkina Faso.Member of the Burkinabé scene. In 1981 he joined the Koule Dafourou troupe as a dancer. Later he sang for Dounia,then with his Afromandingo Band. Played with Burkinabé musician Victor Démé, Touré Kunda,Guem,Youssou N'Dour, MC Solaar, Peter Gabriel Was musical director for festival "les Senteurs Africaines" in Saint-Paul-les-Trois-Châteaux,Nyons,France in 1994-2003. Influenced by Nigerian Music, Fela Kuti and King Sunny Adé plus the legendary Moussa Doumbia (from Mali). Sometimes written as Madou Djembé.
