Santi (Santiago Ferreira) is a Paraguay-born, US-based musician, producer and software engineer. His passion for music began with recordings. As a kid, Santi would spend hours listening to the radio, record the tunes he liked and make mixtapes. He started recording his own songs at age 12. In high school, he studied with Uruguayan musician Horacio Cordeiro who taught him classical and jazz guitar as well as music theory. After high school, he studied voice, piano, and sound technology at IPAC (Instituto Professional de Artes y Ciencias de la Comunicación) in Asunción, Paraguay. He completed his college degree in music composition, voice, and computer science. Santi’s music draws upon various influences: Afro-Latin Percussion, Western Classical Composition, Jazz Harmonization, and digital sound design.
