Sara Ramirez (born August 31, 1975) is an actress and singer. She debuted on Broadway playing Wahzinak in Paul Simon’s The Capeman (1998). In 2006, Sara Ramirez appeared on the TV screens as Dr. Calliope "Callie" Torres, on ABC's hit show Grey's Anatomy. Her song "Silent Night" is heard on that show (2009).
