Williams, a New York-based, multi-genre songwriter who finds herself particularly inspired to compose Christmas music. / Sarah Jane says, ‘Kathryn Williams is a special friend of mine from New York, who asked Alastair Gavin and I to record some beautiful Christmas songs that she had written. I will be performing these songs at Christmas in various churches around Italy with Danilo Rai, the famous Italian piano player.’ [www.saintjanejazz.com] New York-based songwriter Kathryn Williams has spent her lifetime playing with words. / A former theater/film critic and entertainment journalist with degrees in drama criticism and journalism, Kathryn has published poetry and short stories, written a children’s screenplay, theatrical monologues, a near-novel, and cartoon captions. Currently she's writing words and music. / Her eclectic tastes have produced eclectic sounds: Kathryn has written songs across many genres, from jazz, pop/rock and r&b to musical theater and hymns. While she would love to call herself a singer-songwriter, the truth is she can’t sing. Recorded in January + March, 2007 at The Premises Music Studios, London All songs written by Kathryn L.
