S T R E T C H is both a single by Sarah Weis and an award-winning music video by creative partners Arturo Cubacub and Sarah Weis. The Drum Machine listed was used purely for sound effects, not rhythm. The track features the sound of Pop-Rocks Candy, which Weis achieved by waterproofing a contact mic with plasti-dip and submerging it in a bowl of Coca-Cola and Pop Rocks. The original concept was to capture the sound of ice cracking (freezing the water-proofed mic in a block of ice and pouring hot water over it), but that strategy ended up not producing the desired results. The video was shot and produced at i^3 hypermedia in Chicago.
