Saratan (arab. Cancer) is a Polish band, playing oriental Thrash Metal, using real oriental acoustic instruments like: saz, tar, kamancheh, santur, setar, darbuka, etc. After releasing 4 full-length albums, the band recorded the most ethnic and acoustic material in their history - "Dark Orient". Saratan collaborates with musicians from Iran, Turkey and Tunisia. Current Line-up: Jarek Niemiec - Vocals, Bass, Tar, Setar, Cura, Kamancheh (2003-present) Adam Augustyński - Guitars (2003-present) Małgorzata "Maggie" Gwóźdź - Vocals (2015-present) Michał "Ragnar" Stefański - Drums, Darbuka, Riq, Tombak (2010-present)
