Saratoga was a recorde-ensemble from Hilversum (the Netherlands). Members: Jan Spaans (founder, teacher, bass-recorder), Annemarie van den Born (Marjan, tenor-recorder), Jehanne Middelhoff (soprano-recorder) and Maria Wüst (alto-recorder). They won the 2nd price in 1975 at the Musicfestival "Musica Antiqua" in Brugge (Belgium, Frans Brüggen was a member of the jury). The ensemble-name is chosen from a composition by Hans-Ulrich Staeps.
