Saskia Ogilvie (b. 1966) is a cellist. She studied with Klaus Storck at Alanus Hochschule, Martin Ostertag in Karlsruhe, as well as Ivan Monighetti and Reinhard Latzko in Basel, graduating in 1985. Her career started with Anton Webern Ensemble in Vienna, where Saskia played under the baton of Claudio Abbado. Ogilvie served as a soloist of Gustav Mahler Youth Orchestra from 1992 to 1994, performing with Michael Gielen, Sir Neville Marriner, Riccardo Chailly and other conductors. Since 1997, she has been playing with Ensemble Resonanz.
