Welsh and fiercely proud of it, Sassafras were first formed in 1970 and play a mix of rock 'n' roll, progressive rock and country with the emphasis on harmony. The use of twin guitar solos has always been a distinctive feature of their music. They hold the UK record for the group performing the greatest number of live gigs in a year.
