Band, 1971-1981 DE, Cologne
Rock
1970's progressive rock band from Cologne/Köln, Germany. Satin Whale started as a largely instrumental band, playing long tracks with keyboards, flute and majestic arrangements. Songs became more and more the focus of albums as they went on, and tracks got shorter (excepting the live double). Throughout their history Satin Whale retained a distinctive and unique style.
