Saunet Sparell (born on 1 Jan, 1971 in Addis Abeba, Ethiopia) replaced Zetma Prenbo in 1995 as vocalist for the Basic Element project. Saunet did also participate in the project Cyro & Gyro. She released an album called Faith and a single called Erase Me, both in 2000 as Saunet. There were no success with these releases. Saunet was the hostess of Swedish Dance Chart on ZTV. 2006 : Saunet played the role of Nadia Selam-Tefari in the the Norwegian TV soap series Hotel Cæsar. She also appeared in Äkta människor (2012) and The Light (2011).
