Freshit reaches no3 and enters the dark side... SAWF is a talented young artist based in Athens, that has released a number of EPʼs on UK techno imprint Perc Trax. His style encompasses tough industrial beats, razor sharp hi-end, chopped up vocals, darkness, disco? A SAWF release is instantly identifiable for its dynamics, crystal clear production, obscurity & groove. He is probably one of the most promising techno producers of today with support from the likes of Dave Clarke & Adam Beyer. For Freshitʼs 3rd installment, SAWF drops a bit of dirty boogie, working over underground funk classic “Get on up (Disco)” adding his signature industrial feel to it, delivering 122 bpm of a track with no genre. The kicks start hitting in followed by bigger than life snare drums and swirling hi hats; You can feel the floor shaking. The funky groove appears side by side industrial techno drum fusion and bass, so powerful, bouncing in a complex, odd pattern.
