Stage name 一条 さゆり（初代）Sayuri Ichijô (The First) Japanese porn actress, stripper, born in Niigata Prefecture. (June 10, 1929 - August 3, 1997) She was 18 years old when we came to the end of the war in Tama county, Tokyo. At that time she was doing a street prostitute for US soldiers in Japan. She became a hostess at the age of 21 and made the first marriage. She debuted on the strip at the International Theater in Yokohama. After that she worked in Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka etc. At that time her stage name was renamed 一条 さゆり (Sayuri Ichijô) from 赤羽マリ (Mari Akabane)、リオ椿 (Rio Tsubaki) in 1966. She gained great popularity by 駒田信二 (Shinji Komada)'s real novel "一条さゆりの性"(Sayuri Ichijô's Sex) that spelled her half-life. From 1967 to 1973, her popularity became even greater as she served as a regular hostess of famous adult TV program "11 PM". Also, from activists such as New Left and Feminist movement (Women's Liberation), she was raised as "a symbol of anti - power". By tricks devoted to delighting the audience with SM directing, she was arrested nine times for crime of public indecency until her retirement in 1972.
