A.k.a. Giuseppe Savarese
Guitarist and singer, born in Capri May 7, 1920; died September 6, 1996 in Capri. He started in 1937 as an opera singer in a theater in Germany; passing then at the "Musica Leggera" (as it was called then). In 1940, he made his debut on the radio and later opened a number of major concert tours that took him to perform in the nightclubs of the major countries of the world. He was called by his admirers "The Singer of the Kings" because he held many concerts for monarchs of countries he visited.
