The Schneider Sisters, Mary (b.1932) and Rita (1928 - 31/3/2009), were a variety act originally from Rockhampton in Queensland, Australia. They were initially signed to EMI Regal Zonophone and subsequently performed together for many years, becoming regulars on Australian TV and playing venues all over the country. They have received a number of accolades from the Australian Country Music Hall Of Fame. Both sisters had solo success.
