He was born in Guayaquil on May 6, 1962, the second of three brothers, representing the third generation of musicians and musical instrument builders of his family. He has been involved in music since 1982, began as a folklorist, from there to the music of social composition and plot, was one of the pioneers of electronic music in the equator, until one day he decided to go deeper into musical structures of his country, conducting research on Etnomusica and Arqueomusica, which allowed him to merge the musical wealth of the country with contemporary musical structures. Due to his restlessness, researcher and creator, about five years ago, he ventured into the creation of musical instruments of Guadua (Guadua Angustipholia) bamboo variety endemic to the Ecuadorian coast; arriving to create the first and only orchestra of the equator, where all its instruments are elaborated of bamboo.
