A.k.a. Jeff Borden, Günter Schulz
Schulz is a collaboration of guitarrist Günter Schulz (KMFDM, Slick Idiot, Pigface) and singer Jeff Borden, based in Canada. The project was originally originally announced as 'XMFDX', a play off of Schulz's former band. But shortly thereafter, they switched names, using Shulz's own namesake for their moniker. The band has a very guitar-driven, hard rock sound and is a major departure from Shulz's electronic/industrial past. To date, they have limited their operations to Canada, releasing one album and playing numerous live shows there.
