Daniel Lyall and Maik Drozdzynski have been Scot & Millfield from Mülheim an der Ruhr since 1999. Driven and inspired by artists like Chicane, the Thrillseekers, ATB, Spacekid and last but not least Caba Kroll from Bassbumpers, Mülheim an der Ruhr, we found our passion in trance, ambient and house. In collaboration with Caba Kroll and the Bassbumbers Crew around Voodoo, Andreas Litterscheid (CJ Stone) and Henning Reith, we released our first track, Miss Peppermint - The beat is rockin, in 2004 in the hypnotic:beatz club mix published by Drop Out Records, a division of Alphabet City. Collaboration continued from the autum of 2012 now with Uli Poeppelbaum ( Spacekid / Tune / Sequential One / My love is hot / reflex / ubap). In this time hypnotic:beatz became Scot & Millfield. We have also worked together with Marc Larrel from Klangwald Recordings and Andy Seinsch aka Padshifta / Liquid Nanosphere as well as all the other guys from Stereo Poems and UP Recordings. We have also done some remixes for Andre Wildenhues, Basar and Spacekid and released the singles morning sun, sandrooms and the ambient EP ApNoe.
