A Young Lo-Fi Indie Pop DIY group of musicians formed in 2009. Psychedelic pop seven piece collective from Leeds, England. Lo-fi live and recorded music inspired by the moon, balloons and missing cats. Seas-Of-Green love blending dreamy romantic jams with hectic breakdowns and soaring highs. Hiatus announced June 2014. ‘Bearpit‘ – This is joyously jangly. Percussion is flamboyant and driven. Waves of gorgeous paper-thin chords are strewn into the air. The voice is emotional and picturesque. The pace changes to a softer rhythm. Then tiny sparks of guitar create a party of fireflies – it is then that the foot-tapping chorus starts to really sink in. Invigorating and clever. RAWRAMP, rawramp.wordpress.com I was struck by their ambition as songwriters, their varied influences coming through in interesting and mature ways. They often seem somewhat older than their years, and yet with a youthful nervous energy similar to the likes of Wu Lyf or early Foals – plenty of experimentation with sounds, tense spacey vocals and sections of song that shouldn’t work next to each other, but somehow do.
