Band,
Rock, Pop and Alternative
Secret Lives of the Freemasons hail from Asheville, NC. The band formed 2003 as a result of the dissolution of two local bands, a Kiss Before Dying and Throwing Myself. They are a mix of post-hardcore and emo. The band members are vocalist Brien Worsham; bassist Josh Carden; drummer Travis Moss; and guitarists Jim Debardi, Tucker Ensley, and Justin Elrod. The band met with indie Astro Magnetics in 2004 and they signed the band up. Their 2005 debut, This Was Built to Make You Dance (Here Is Your Revolution), was recorded in less than a week with producer D. James Goodwin (Murder by Death). The band has toured with Scary Kids Scaring Kids, He Is Legend, and the Fully Down.
