A.k.a. Shigeki Tamura

s e g e k e - (Shigeki Tamura) is a musician/producer living in Osaka/Japan. He began to play electric guitar as a teen and was acting afterwards as a guitarist/vocal singer in a rock band playing music of the 70's. After that his music changed into soul and funk music. At the same time he experienced abstract hip hop and drum 'n bass and liked it very much. At 18 he participated in the House music band called "A hundred birds". In this band he experienced the release of an original track from Wave Music called "Georgia" and from King Street Sounds called "Too Close" . Additionally, he knows a lot about the work of some Remix from "Irma Record" and "King Street Sounds". There was a big change for him at the beginning of the year 2000. Recently, he was strongly influenced from deep techno and minimal house and he began to act live and as a DJ with sound instruments and a laptop. His solo project "s e g e k e" has recently started.
