Back: The Ritual For The Spring Equinox The Altar is draped in green and is decorated with Spring flowers and painted eggs. The symbol of the wheel is placed thereon, flanked by one black and one white candle. There should be wine and seed-cake for sharing and seeds for planting. Twelve candles are set around the circle; six white from East to West, six black from West to East. There should be quarter-candles in the colors of The Wheel of The Seasons. Light the six black candles. Visualise the Void. Visualise the Stars in the Void. Visualise the Circle of the Zodiac. Visualise the Golden Ram leaping through the Circle of the Zodiac at The First Point of Aries. Cast the Circle. Summon the Mighty Guardians of the Quarters and light the quarter candles. Dance the Pagan Wheel, lighting the six white candles from East to West. Raise Power.
