Visual kei band formed either in late 1996 or early 1997. The first lineup was made of TOMO (22) on vocals, Yayoi (3) and Hidenori on guitar, Lie on bass and Kazuma (2) on drums. After the release of several demo tapes the band went through a major lineup change in early 1997. Hidenori and Lie left the band, and TOMO (22) and Yayoi (3) became members of the more popular Mirage (44). New members Hiro (26), Koni (2), Maya (43) and Nao (10) joined by fall 1997, and Sense Of Shape signed a deal with the independent record label Matina (which was the same label of Tomo (22) and Yayoi (3)'s new band Mirage (44)). Shortly after that Kazuma (2), who was the only member of the original lineup at that time, left the band. The remaining members released a mini-album in December and decided to stop activities.
