Sergei Pron (b. 1959) is a Russian jazz trumpeter and flugelhorn player from Saratov, member of the International Trumpet Guild since 1998. Pron plays a key role on the contemporary improv jazz scene in Yekaterinburg, cited by some critics and publications as one of the best trumpeters in Russia. He had been collaborating with such prominent jazz players, as Louis Sclavis, Werner Lüdi, Anatoly Vapirov, Arkady Shilkloper, Mikhail Alperin, Daniil Kramer, Georgiy Garanian, and Alexander Rostotsky.
