Also known as Sergei Malagamba, born February 6, 1913, Chișinău - died April 15, 1978, Bucharest. Romanian composer, arranger, conductor and drummer, born on Russian soil since Chișinău was at that time part of Russian Empire. Persecuted under two dictatorships, Malagamba was arrested several times. In the early forties was launched eccentric fashion clothing called even "Malagamba".
