Settler were a five piece band based in Dublin, Ireland. Formed in early 2001 by Fiona O'Connor (bass), Tim O'Donovan (drums), Derek McCormack (acoustic guitar and vocals), Wil McDermott (keyboards) and Michael Stevens (electric guitar and vocals), its lyrical, acoustic-edged pop aesthetic has cheerfully bludgeoned its way into the cerebral Dublin music scene, finding support from all those who appreciate guitar-driven, intelligent pop.
