Cuban son band founded by Ignacio Piñeiro in 1927. Their name was changed to Septeto Nacional in 1928 after a trumpet player was added to the lineup. They reduced their activity in the 1930s and stoped activity in early 1940s. They only came back in the 1950s, as Septeto Nacional de Ignacio Piñeiro.
