Died September 11, 2008. Beloved wife of Jack Shor. Dear mother of Joanna Jacob, Daniel Jacob, Daniel Shor, Arkey Shor and mother-in-law of John Post, Jie Hua Shor. Cherished grandmother of Anna, Shane and Le Fan. She was the lyricist for the broadway musical, ''Jimmy'', composed by her late husband Bill Jacob. During the, ''Big Band'' era, she sang and recorded with Charlie Spivak, Buddy DeFranco, and Tommy Dorsey. In later years she was a counselor to victims of addiction to alcohol and other drugs.
