Band,
Philadelphia has a reputation for being louder, ruder, and drunker than everyone else. There’s a working-class toughness that permeates the cold steel and concrete, making the city of brotherly shove the only city that can house SHARKBULLET’s unique brand of smash-n-thrash, death-n-roll, heavy fuckin’ metal. The band was born from a drunken epiphany during a poker game back in 2004. After the hangovers faded, founding members Matt Fee and Ryan Sullivan linked up one afternoon and wrote an entire album’s worth of music for what was intended to be SHARKBULLET’s official debut. Despite Sullivan leaving for the Army that year, the two traded ideas back and forth over the years until Ryan returned home in 2010. They immediately went back to work recording demos, playing shows, and assaulting crowds throughout the city. The group made their official debut at The Legendary Dobbs in the heart of downtown Philadelphia, but a series of broken bones and lineup shifts kept the band from cutting its teeth until drummer Joe Bondra joined the group in late 2016. With Matt's six-string savagery, Sullivan's vicious vocals, and the addition of Joe's devastating drumming, the newly formed power-trio jumped into action; playing gigs and charged into the studio to record their debut EP "Rampage", which boasts crowd favorites like “Demagogue” and “Relentless”, as well as three more tracks that exemplify SHARKBULLET’s smash-n-thrash style. After releasing “Rampage” independently on March 17th, 2018, the Philly kings of Beer-Metal have been on a feeding frenzy ever since; booking nonstop throughout the tri-state area. With an ever-expanding fanbase and conveyor belt of new material, SHARKBULLET has arrived to claim the throne as Heavy Metal’s favorite apex predator.
